This DADU is actually a full-scale custom home, executed on a small scale. Exposed glue-lam beams and generous windows combine in a northwest contemporary sensibility.

Set in the rear yard of a classic craftsman bungalow on the eastern slopes of Wallingford, the existing fill soils were not suitable for conventional foundations, so the home is set on 35 driven pipe piles.
